it's annual Sheep Shearing on Saturday, May 30 at 9:30am sharp. The
shearing will be done by John Buffington of North Dighton.

Softball Starts Tournament Play Today |

May 28, 2009 -
Mansfield, MA - Mansfield Softball is seeded 13th in the 2009
MIAA Softball South Division 1 Tournament.

The
Hornets went 13-7 this season and will host 20th seeded Milton
(12-10) in a preliminary round game today at 3:30pm.
The winner will travel to 4th seeded Braintree (18-2) for a
first round game on Saturday, May 30 at 7pm.

Theater Programs for Children |

22, 2009 - Mansfield, MA - The Mansfield Music & Arts
Society will hold summer theater programs for children ages 7 to
16 years old at the Black Box Theater located at 30 Crocker
Street in Mansfield.
The
MMAS programs will help young actors develop skills for musical
theater and acting for comedy and drama Students will develop
skills including: how to audition, how to breath for the stage
and how to develop characters.
The
MMAS classes are limited in size to only ten students with three
adult instructors per each session. Information about the

Youth Soccer Marathon |

15, 2009 - Mansfield, MA - Mansfield Youth Soccer hosting it's
second annual soccer marathon on Saturday May 16th at MHS Alumni
Field |

This
15 hour long continuous soccer game will be made up of soccer
players ranging in age from six to adults and all levels of
skills as well. But it's more than just soccer...there will be
games, music, radar gun kicking contests, raffles and a special
guest from the New England Revolution. |

All
the money raised will go to Mansfield Youth Soccer's Fields of
Green effort to renovate the Plymouth St. fields and construct a
synthetic turf field that ultimately can be used by all sports
organizations.
