for Strays! Charity Yard Sale to Benefit Angelcat Haven Feline
Rescue - 8:00 AM to 1:00 PM at Desco Electronics, 36 Bacon Square,
Plainville, MA
Proceeds from the event
will help stray and homeless cats in the area. Heavy rain date is
Sunday, June 28th.
Gently used items, including
furniture, home accessories, baby clothes, toys, kitchenware,
books, CDs, electronics and much more will be available for
purchase. There will also be baked goods, cold drinks, handmade
organic catnip mats and cat toys for sale as well. It's a
fun-filled day of bargain shopping, entertainment and food - all
for a good cause!
"Last year we raised
$2,500!" says Angela Frankudakis, president of Angelcat
Haven. "And this year, we hope to raise over $3,000 for stray
and abandoned cats in the area." Angelcat's mission is to
help those cats who fall threw the cracks at the existing
overcrowded shelters. "We truly believe that havens have no
boundaries and work in many different towns to aid in reducing the
stray population."
ACH welcomes donated items for the
sale. Please no TVs, adult clothing, or exercise equipment. To

Donations are tax deductible. Proceeds from the sale go directly
to cover medical expenses for stray cats and kittens.
